HHS Hockey would like to thank all our family, friends and fans that came out to support our annual Faceoff Against Cancer game this past Saturday February 1st. It was a big success!

The Hudson community continues to show support for our hockey programs through donations, sponsorships, and attending the games to cheer on our teams. We feel it is important for our players to give back to the community.

All proceeds from our Cancer Game fundraising will be donated to the Rhino's Foundation. The Rhino's Foundation supports families from Western Wisconsin who are affected by cancer. In addition to the 2 annual fundraisers, the Hudson High School Hockey Teams have a dedicated day where we play in honor/memory of someone who's battling cancer.

All money comes from the community, and Rhino's gives money to those in need, no strings attached. Recipients use the funds for some of the following things: help pay medical bills, mortgage payments, house bills, or even a vacation - if the family just needs to get away from all the medical craziness. In the past few years, with the funds raised, Rhino's replaced all of the Chemotherapy Chairs at Hudson Hospital and they have also replaced 8 of the Chemotherapy Chairs at River Falls Hospital. This helps keep patients as comfortable as possible when going through their treatment. 100% of what comes in - goes out, nothing stays.
